Economics Research Project

Your task will be to choose one decade and explore what was happening in the United States Politically, Economically, Socially, and Technologically.   We will be in the computer lab researching your decade.

 

Day 1. You should focus on exploring what was happening during your decade in the areas of politics, economics, as well as science and technologyPolitics can include president information, important legislation, elections and political movements. Economics can include what was happening in the American economy. Technology can explore American advancements in science, medicine and technology during your decade. 

 

Day 2. This day should explore the Pop Culture of the decade as you explore the arts, literature and entertainment of your decade.  Be sure to give credit to the sources you use to get your information from.  When citing your sources please use the "MLA" format.  For photos you can just list the name of the source.

 

Day 3. You will have one class period to complete a visually appealing PowerPoint to be presented in class.  Please refer to the grading rubric attached to this handout.
